SERVICES
Media Center: Seven public access computers - internet accessible (T1 connection); scanner; fax machine; photocopier; and notary public.
Inter library Loan: in association with the New Mexico State Library.
Community Room: offered for public use at no charge for community-related and library activities (town meetings, storytelling, arts and crafts guilds, tutoring, etc.).Technical Assistance: instruction on computer and other media equipment use is available from library staff on request.
RESOURCES
Collection: Approximately 10,000 books, 1,000 videos, 500 audio books and audio tapes for children, teens, and adults. The Reference Section is in compliance with New Mexico State Library standards. Many magazines, periodicals, and three newspapers that include: The Santa Fe New Mexican (daily); the Rio Grande Sun (weekly); and The Taos News (weekly).
Specialty Collections: southwest; arts, crafts and culture; Spanish Language (books, videos, audio books); gardening and nature; and a Children’s library.

PAST PROGRAMS
Literacy: Targets children, teens, and adults who are weak in communication and literacy skills.
Spanish Classes: Play Spanish Scrabble on Tuesday nights and learn to spell Spanish words (and learn the meaning of the words).
Tutoring: Tutoring in elementary and secondary school subjects and learning skills is offered by arrangement on a regular basis. One-to-one tutoring in English as a Second Language (ESL) also sponsored by the NMCL. Informal educational counseling is also offered by arrangement.
Adult Basic Computer: Training offered by arrangement.
Children’s Storytelling: Saturday afternoons
Children’s Literary Garden Project: Combining storytelling and reading with gardening.
Poetry Center and Bookmaking workshops for Children.
Others: Summer Arts for Children and Summer Reading.
