Free Santa Fe Opera Tickets

Once again, the Santa Fe Opera has come through for us by donating Adult and Youth Tickets for Youth Night.  The performance will be on Monday, June 27, 2011 and starts at 9:00 pm.

"FAUST" - Soul or Sin?  Choose.

In one of the most diabolical futures trades ever placed.  Méphistophélès persuades Faust to swap his soul for youth and the opportunity to seduce the beautiful Marguerite.  Gounod's quintessential Romantic-era opera joins the Santa Fe repertory in this new production led by chief conductor Frédéric Chaslin and director Stephen Lawless, Ailyn Pérez stars as Marguerite.

Featuring a sinister carnival with bearded ladies and contortionist, Faust is filled with gorgeous music from beginning to end, much of which will be familiar to audiences.  The action moves from Faust's study through colorful scenes that vividly portray the emotional web in which Faust and Marquerite are caught by Méphistophélès, who controls the action like a puppeteer.  Enjoy the video and audio highlights online.  Faust is an unforgettable evening of devilish entertainment at the opera.

WE HAVE ADULT AND YOUTH TICKETS  ~~~  TICKETS ARE ON A FIRST COME - FIRST BASIS

Ortiz Transportation will be picking us up at the Library at 6:00 pm so please make sure you are here on time.
